Pet Memorial Wall

Our Pet Memorial Wall honors the pets who’ve touched our hearts and changed our lives for the better. It’s a place to remember their love, celebrate their unique spirit, and keep their memory alive.

We found Hank in an abandoned store. He was shockingly handsome (Handsome Hank) and always the perfect host to the numerous foster dogs we took in. He has a plaque dedicated to him at Harris County Pets. He will forever be our favorite boy!
In loving memory of Poppy, Milo’s very best friend!
From the guests she played cards with at college parties to the Airbnb host who spent a paragraph in his review telling us how much he would miss her, Tiger charmed everyone she met. She was my co-pilot through four states, and I cherish every day with her!
Pele was a ray of sunshine! She was so smart, incredibly loving, and endlessly quirky. She was all class and much preferred eating meals with the family than dining alone. I still find her fur from time to time and feel like she's always with me.
In loving memory of my sweet & feisty, Lily Cottonelle. She was my best friend for 16 years. She got me through relationships, friendships, a death of a parent, new schools, new jobs, & was my constant. She taught me what it meant to love unconditionally and be loved unconditionally.
Moo. He was a chunky boy with a big heart. He’d lay on your chest and you could barely breathe from the weight, but wouldn’t have it any other way! He found beds in the most random places. Definitely the “if I fits, I sits mentality.” Thanks for being our cuddly buddy, Moo.
There will never be another dog like Mojo. She was our real-life Marley from Marley & Me. Full of energy. Always busy, always into something, and constantly jumping in the pool when she wasn’t supposed to. She always had a ball in her mouth. But more than anything, she was full of love and loyalty. She played fetch until she physically couldn’t anymore. She’s missed every single day. And every time I see a tennis ball, I think of her. Always
Ava Corn in her favorite place, Lake Tahoe!
We adopted Milo right after getting married, and he wasted no time turning my Cat Person husband into a full-blown Dog Person. Milo loved sunbathing and hated snow - a true Texas pup. He had the softest ears, the prettiest eyes, and the biggest appetite. We miss him every day.
Logan & Milo
I got Amy, a 4-6 year old Pittie mix, in November 2017. I volunteered at the Stella Link shelter and one of the other volunteers begged me to take as she was not doing well. Total foster fail. In 2019, we moved to Pittsburgh PA where Amy became a favorite dog in our neighborhood, Mt. Washington. We walked the hilly streets twice a day. In the morning, we went to a nearby park but it was the evening walk she liked best. We visited her firefighter friends (treats), the Grandview Bakery (treats), Bob who hung out on his front porch (treats), Tam the hair stylist (treats), and Darlene who owner the flower shop (treats). In the summer, we stopped for ice cream as well (treats) or ate outside at a local restaurant (she got nibbles from me). She also visited with people walking along Grandview Avenue or hanging out in front of the restaurants and bars. (Amy liked living in a tourist area.) On her last day, she was moving slowly on our walk so we went straight to the ice cream shop and she got a small cone with a few treats on top. Later in the night, she had a massive stroke and passed away around 4:00 in the morning on June 28, 2024. We didn’t move to Pittsburgh; we moved to Pittiesburgh and Amy was the Queen of the Pitties in Pittiesburgh!
