Just an hour ago, we rushed to help a severely emaciated, senior dog brought in by a partner high-intake shelter. Found on the side of the road, Aggie arrived at Houston Pets Alive! minutes ago, with one of the most severe cases of starvation we’ve ever seen, he’s a large dog and weighs only 38 pounds plus he’s heartworm positive—but he’s still fighting.
