Yesterday, a partner shelter reached out to us about 70 Chihuahua mixes and a bird rescued from deplorable conditions inside a home in South Houston as part of a cruelty case. We’ve helped by taking in a range of dogs, from 4 months to eight years old. The dogs had been living in filth and suffering from untreated health issues, including demodex mange, fleas, and malnutrition.
