When we first learned about Squash, a sweet young French Bulldog, we knew we had to help. Squash arrived with a badly damaged eye, swollen and painful from an unknown trauma, and on top of that, he was heartworm positive. He was scared, suffering, and in desperate need of medical attention.
Our team quickly began treatment to ease his pain, but after a thorough evaluation, it became clear that the injury was too severe. The only way to relieve Squash’s suffering and give him a chance at a happy life was through surgery to remove his damaged eye.
