Adopt Together! Where Passion Meets Purpose.

Adopt Together! is a ground-breaking program that trains volunteers to become adoption counselors, working closely with our partner shelters, such as BARC, to improve and streamline the adoption experience.

Our volunteers play a key role in facilitating smoother, more successful adoptions by directly supporting potential adopters and ensuring pets receive the attention they need. By aligning with the adoption guidelines of our partner shelters, we aim to create an environment where both pets and adopters feel welcomed and supported every step of the way.

Our mission is to create a meaningful impact on a larger scale, particularly at shelters that are over capacity and in urgent need of support. By increasing the number of successful adoptions, we not only help more pets find loving homes, but also create room for more animals to be cared for and given a second chance at finding their forever home.

“Being in the Adopt Together program has allowed me to combine my passion for animals with meaningful work. This has given me a great sense of fulfillment, happiness, and a connection and camaraderie with others who feel like I do. Firstly, I know I'm saving a life with every successful adoption, and this leaves room for another animal to have a second chance. I also get to talk with potential adopters and educate them, answer questions, dispel misconceptions, and really make sure I get a good match for the family and that animal.
