Houston Pets Alive! recently stepped in for 14 animals who had nowhere else to go: 11 young puppies from two litters, two dogs (including a senior), and a cat who needs a life-saving leg amputation. Thanks to our community, five of those puppies have already been adopted—but today we took in four more puppies in need. Rescue rarely goes according to plan.
