In order to keep the cats in our care as healthy as possible, some of them require special prescription cat foods that help them maintain proper nutrition. Specifically, HPA! is running low and in need of the following prescription foods:
- Purina EN
- Royal Canin GI Low Fat
- Royal Canin GI High Energy
- Hills I/D
The cats need $1,000 so that HPA! can stock up on these foods for current and future needs!
Why are we asking for donations to purchase the food instead of for product donations?
- Because these are prescription foods, the donor would need a prescription to purchase them.
- As an animal rescue with a veterinarian on staff, we are able to purchase the food at a discounted rate, so your donation dollars will go farther than purchasing the food on your own.
If you do have these brands already and are no longer in need of them, we will gratefully accept product donations in the packaging at our cat adoption center at 8710 Stella Link Road between 12-6pm.
