On the seventh day of Giving, my good friend gave to me… Seven puppy intakes new to treat!

Today is Day 7 of the 12 Days of Giving! Everybody loves puppies; they are always breaking over the top of the cuteness scale! What most people don’t know, is what exactly it takes to intake a large litter of puppies all at once. Every animal that comes into our care gets everything they need: food, bedding, medical care, treats, baths, love, and pets. But all of that becomes much more difficult when we need seven times as much of everything at the exact same time!

While puppies always warm hearts with their adorable faces and zoomies, they get very messy and go through supplies quick. Plus, once they start growing up into the pups they were always meant to be, they need even more individual care. Only because of the kindness of hearts like yours are we able to consistently save entire litters of at-risk puppies and find them loving homes. Open your heart now and help us cover the intake costs so we can save more puppies like the “W” litter pictured above (Wayne, Waldo, Whitley, Whitney, Wilma, Wendy, Wynter, and Wanda)!

Few things match ‘lil baby puppies on both the precious meter and the supplies needed meter. Our incredible fosters take on the immense task of caring for several furbabies at once, and that can get messy quick! HPA! relies on their selflessness of our fosters to take on the responsibility of making sure these animals get the care, treatments, and love that they need, and it’s all dependent on the generosity of people like you to help cover the cost of doing so.
