Today is Day 8 of the 12 Days of Giving! Similarly to Day 7 with the adorable puppies, today centers around our kitties, but this time, specifically in our catteries! We have cats and kittens in partner pet stores all over Houston, and they need your help just as much as the other animals in our programs! After being cared for by fosters, once adoption ready our kitties make their way into one of the catteries to meet their furever family. While there, our amazing volunteers take care of all of their needs: meal time, changing their litter, sanitizing the cat condos, play time, and more!
Keeping everything clean is essential to keeping kitties happy. Making sure they have plenty of toys to play with and have comfortable setups in their condo homes is what enables them to feel safe while they wait to meet their purfect match. It’s up to people like you to ensure that each and every kitty has exactly what they need to succeed!
Staying in one of the catteries is the easiest way for our kitties to meet and find their furever friends, but it takes a lot of teamwork and supplies to get them ready to be there. Setting up a cattery includes many seemingly small items, but their combination means that we can find as many cuties homes as possible! Whether it’s by donating towards one item, or the entire setup, show our kitties you care today!
